Tanker Fleet Controller

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tanker Fleet Controller. As a Tanker Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of our tanker fleet. This includes driver management, load planning, incident reporting, maintenance planning, cross border load execution, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in fleet controlling and the tanker industry, and must be committed, driven to succeed, and able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • – Must reside in or around Pretoria
  • – Must have own transport
  • – Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
  • – Must be detail-focused

Bulk Vehicle Operator (BVO)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, vibrant, and energetic individual to join our team as a Bulk Vehicle Operator (BVO) in Pretoria. As a BVO, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport, collection, and delivery of petroleum and dangerous goods. The main purpose of this position is to ensure the timely and secure transportation of these goods to their designated locations.

If you are a dedicated professional with a valid Code 14 driver’s license, DGP, and PRDP, as well as a minimum qualification of Matric, we encourage you to apply. In addition, you must hold a valid passport and medicals, as well as possess a Hazchem certificate, first aid, and firefighting certificates. Knowledge of trucks and fuel tankers is essential, along with a willingness to travel throughout South Africa and across borders.

If you have at least 5 years of experience in fuel transportation and are well-versed in the Transport industry and Road Traffic Act, we want to hear from you. The ability to perform meter/meterless deliveries is required, as well as a strong understanding of the skills and responsibilities associated with fuel transportation.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, interested candidates must have/meet the following minimum qualifications/traits:

Responsibilities
As a Bulk Vehicle Operator (BVO), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • – Safely transporting, collecting, and delivering petroleum and dangerous goods
  • – Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
  • – Inspecting and maintaining vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • – Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
  • – Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
  • – Planning routes and determining the most efficient delivery schedule
  • – Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • – Performing routine vehicle maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues
  • – Resolving any delivery or scheduling discrepancies in a timely manner
  • – Representing the company in a professional and customer-oriented manner
